New family of Mix-n-Stain™ Labeling Kits offer rapid and efficient labeling of Nanobodies® with CF® dyes.
Fremont, CA, March 06, 2020: Biotium is expanding their line of industry-leading Mix-n-Stain™ labeling kits with new Mix-n-Stain™ Nanobody Labeling Kits. These new kits offer rapid and efficient labeling of Nanobodies® with exceptionally bright and photostable CF® dyes.
Over the last decade, Nanobodies® (also called camelid single variable or VHH domains) have increasingly shown numerous advantages over commonly used immunoglobulin antibodies. Their smaller size, greater stability, higher production yield, and specificity for unique epitopes have strong implications in both therapeutic and research applications. Biotium’s new Mix-n-Stain™ Nanobody Labeling Kits aim to streamline the process of Nanobody® labeling, saving time while producing Nanobody® conjugates with excellent performance. These new Nanobody® specific kits feature the same advantages as Mix-n-Stain™ CF® Dye Antibody Labeling Kits for IgG antibodies, offering optimal labeling of Nanobodies® in just 30 minutes, with minimal hands-on time and no purification. In addition, Mix-n-Stain™ Kits are compatible with several common buffer additives including BSA, Tris, glycerol, azide, and more.
Mix-n-Stain™ Nanobody Labeling Kits are offered with 7 CF® Dye colors or biotin, with options for labeling 5-50 ug Nanobody®. Certain CF® Dye colors are suitable for super-resolution and 2-photon imaging.
Biotium’s family of Mix-n-Stain™ antibody labeling kits continues to grow, providing optimized labeling solutions for a wide selection of proteins and molecules. In addition to CF® dyes, Mix-n-Stain™ kits are available for labeling antibodies with fluorescent proteins, enzymes, and other labels. Mix-n-Stain™ kits optimized for labeling small ligands are also available.
