MTT

MTT (3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) is a tetrazolium salt that is commonly used to detect reductive metabolism in cells for viability, proliferation and cytotoxicity assays. On reduction tetrazolium salts turn into deeply colored products that can be easily quantified by colorimetric measurement.

Product Description

MTT (3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) is a tetrazolium salt that is commonly used to detect reductive metabolism in cells for viability, proliferation and cytotoxicity assays. On reduction tetrazolium salts turn into deeply colored products that can be easily quantified by colorimetric measurement. MTT forms a purple formazan product that needs to be solubilized prior to quantification. MTT and XTT (10060) are particularly useful for HTS of antiviral and anticancer compounds and for the studies of cytokine effect on cell proliferation. XTT

XTT (2,3-Bis-(2-Methoxy-4-nitro-5-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium-5-carboxanilide, disodium salt) is a tetrazolium derivative used widely in cell viability and proliferation testing. The material is readily reduced in viable cells to a highly water-soluble orange colored product (λ= 475 nm).

    XTT Cell Viability Assay Kit

XTT Cell Viability Assay Kit provides a simple method for determining live cell numbers using standard photometric microplate readers. Determination of live cell numbers is often used to assess the rate of cell proliferation and to screen cytotoxic agents.

    Live-or-Dye™ Fixable Viability Staining Kits

Live-or-Dye™ Fixable Viability Staining Kits are designed for discrimination between live and dead cells during flow cytometry. Live/dead stains are useful probes to include when analyzing cell surface protein expression by flow cytometry, because they allow intracellular fluorescence signal from dead cells with permeable plasma membranes to be excluded from analysis.

    Resazurin Cell Viability Assay Kit

Resazurin Cell Viability Assay offers a simple, rapid, reliable, sensitive, safe and cost-effective measurement of cell viability. This kit performs at least as well as other commercial resazurin-based cell proliferation assay kits such as alamarBlue® or CellTiter-Blue®.

Calcein AM Cell Viability Assay Kit

The Calcein AM Cell Viability Assay Kit is designed to quantify live cell numbers based on their endogenous esterase activity and plasma membrane integrity.

Apoptosis and Necrosis Quantitation Kit Plus

A convenient assay for quantifying apoptotic (green) and necrotic (red) cells within the same cell population by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy
