Product Description
DNP is a proton ionophore that is often used in biochemistry as a hapten tag that can be detected using an anti-DNP antibody. DNP-dPEG4-NHS Ester is a DNP moiety containing a PEG linker and an NHS ester terminal group which can be used for labeling biomolecules. The NHS ester will react with primary amines to form a stable amide bond while the hydrophilic PEG linker improves the solubility of the labeled bioconjugate. DNP-dPEG4-NHS Ester may also be used as an amine-reactive FRET quencher when paired with tryptophan or tyramine.
