Ac-DEVD-AMC
Ac-DEVD-AMC is a fluorogenic substrate for caspase 3 and can be used to continuously measure the activity of caspase-3 in cell extracts, using a fluorometer or fluorescence microplate reader. For real-time detection of caspase-3 activity in intact cells, see our novel NucView®488 Caspase-3 Assay Kit.
Ac-IETD-R110
Z-IETD-R110 is a substrate for caspase-8, which is involved at the early stage of apoptosis, acting as an initiator of the caspase activation cascade.
BZAR
BZAR (Rhodamine 110, bis-(N-CBZ-L-arginine amide), dihydrochloride) is a substrate for serine proteases (1-5) and is also an inhibitor for quanidinobenzoatase. It is 50 to 100 times more sensitive than the AMC-based substrate.
BZiPAR
BZiPAR (Rhodamine 110, bis-(N-CBZ-L-isoleucyl-L-prolyl-L-arginine amide), dihydrochloride) is a substrate for trypsin (1,2). The substrate has been reported to enter live cells and be hydrolyzed by lysosomal proteases (3).
D2R
D2R (Rhodamine 110, bis-(L-aspartic acid amide), ditrifluoroacetic acid salt) is a general substrate for caspases including caspases 3 and 7. Unlike other fluorogenic substrates for caspases, D2R appears to be membrane-permeant, and thus can be used to measure caspase activity in live cells without osmotic shock for flow cytometry studies, as well as for cell extracts.
R110-PEG (Rhodamine 110-PEG)
R110-PEG can be used as a reference standard for peptidase substrates based on the dye.
Rhodamine 110 (high purity)
Rhodamine 110 can be used as a reference standard for rhodamine 110-based peptidase substrates.
Z-AA-R110-PEG
Z-AA-R110-PEG (Rhodamine 110-PEG, N-CBZ-L-alanyl-L-alanine amide) is a substrate for elastate.
