Product Description

5-Aminoallyl-UTP (5-(3-Aminoallyl)uridine-5′-triphosphate, trisodium salt; AA-UTP) can be enzymatically incorporated into RNA. The resulting amine-containing RNA can be subsequently labeled with a fluorescent dye, biotin, or other hapten via conventional peptide coupling methods. AA-UTP in lyophilized powder form is suitable for long-term storage. Biotium also offers AA-UTP, 10 mM solution in TE buffer (catalog no. 40021).
