Product Description

Biotium developed CPMTS as an alternative to the widely used thiol-reactive coumarin dye CPM (#91010). CPMTS and CPM have nearly identical absorption and emission spectra. However, CPMTS contains a MTS group, which could make the dye more advantageous than CPM for sulfhydryl labeling because of the high selectivity and reactivity of MTS reagents toward thiol groups. This product replaces discontinued catalog number 91034.

  • Off-white solid soluble in DMF or DMSO
  • Store desiccated at -20°C and protect from light
  • C27H33N3O6S2

CF® Dye Maleimides are thiol-reactive fluorescent dyes. Maleimides are commonly used to label proteins, peptides or other molecules containing free thiol groups.

    CF® Dye MTS

CF® dye MTS are fast-reacting, highly selective thiol-reactive derivatives for reversible labeling of thiol groups with fluorescent CF® dyes.
