CF®514 is a green fluorescent dye that can be imaged using the same settings as FITC. When imaged using instruments capable of spectral imaging, CF®514 can be distinguished from CF®488A using linear unmixing software. This can allow the use of more than four colors in multicolor imaging using standard 4 color optics.
